Long or Short

Bangs are in my future but does the rest stay long or short?

Bangs

Spring always seems to mean a new look...bangs?

Disheveled

Lucy's hair is getting long enough to fall into her eyes and thus demand a little attention from myself. But as much as I wish I left her hair this neat and tidy each day,
I fear we are facing a life of hair akin to this cute do.
Even for myself, I tend toward the messy,
Even though I long for neatly put together locks.
That said, look how lovely messy can be...

Hoping I can find the fine line between messy 'i literally didn't get ready today' and disheveled 'this hair is a choice'.

Fall Wears

I am *blissfully* starting to shed the baby weight that, while I love for being part of creating the cutest girl ever, also made/makes shopping far less fun. And I don't like clothes shopping in the first place. But I do like fashion. And I do want to start defining my style for a shopping spree that is bound to come when all the Lucy love leaves my body. These are looks and pieces that are me*ish*.

Through the Generations

It is a curse passed down from my mom - a red face. I just saw this article on reducing redness. Honestly, I think it is referring to the occasional redness caused by irritation. But I'm desperate. I'll try it. And doesn't milk just look so healing?

"Soak a clean washcloth in cold milk and place it over your face for 10 minutes. 'Milk contains proteins, fat, amino acids, and vitamin A--all of which reduce redness and calm irritated skin,' says David Bank, MD, a dermatologist in Mount Kisco, NY. Bonus: The lactic acid in milk exfoliates, so skin looks soft and glowing."
