Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

Beautiful book.  Perhaps because I read it lying on a bed by the ocean.   Or perhaps because it is itself fabulous.  I love the multiple voice, multiple genre style.  Reminiscent of The History of Love, which is my favorite.
