The Book Thief

Such clever writing. A book narrated by death with different genres imbeded. Love it.
"Somewhere, far down, there was an itch in his heart, but he made it a point not to scratch it. He was afraid of what might come leaking out."

"Trust me, though, the words were on their way, and when they arrived, Liesel would hold them in her hands like the clouds, and she would wring them out like the rain."

I read that for book club last year and loved it, too! Then Mom read it and now Katie is! Holla. :)

how funny that you wrote about this! A friend of mine just told me about this book this evening! I just started reading "The History of Love" per your recommendation. I'm really liking it so far!!
