The Wanderer By Sharon Creech

I thought this short and simple story was lovely. I enjoyed the voices (one young girl and one young boy) and I thought the author proved herself to be a masterful storyteller. It was simple was perfect for a middle-school aged reader. I would recommend it to a youth interested in nautical information, a youth struggling to fit in, a youth who feels displaced, or a youth interested in keeping stories/journals.
